This Mitsujeepshi was pretty neglected exterior wise, but still running great!
That’s what you think it is: an UrQuattro
The “Defense Force” had plenty of equipment that looked like it had been sitting for a while.
This E320 tried to fall apart when I opened the hood. The rubber was bone dry, the tires all somewhat flat, and the engine bay filthy. What a sad fate for such a gorgeous wagon.
Utesun needs some work.
A neglected 928
I’ve posted the following few before, but they’re worthy of a repost.
V12 E Type
450SEL 6.9 “Cartier” edition
280SEL 3.5 next to an Eldorado, quite an odd import for Japan.
A 600 and 300SEL 6.3. Two cars with insane histories sitting neglected.
The even more depressing part was that the interior of this thing was nearly perfect.
Mossy Vette
Another 6.9
Neglected Fairlady
Toyota Hiace (?)
Flared E320 coupe sitting dusty in a lot.
Rice is form of neglect, right?
Poor van.
Down the street, a faded Honda City
Another Uteson. This one would be cool to keep the patina on and put a modern engine in. SR20?
The Beat down the street. Interior filled with stuff.
This was the view behind my bedroom
Who knows how long that’s been sitting there.
Musty, dusty, probably not so trusty 3 wheeler.
Rice rice baby!
The strange thing you’ll notice is that this is LHD
This was right around the corner, and also looked like it had been sitting outside for months.
Poor van.
It was even, er, “Deluxe” at one point.
This one was both somewhat abandoned and neglected by the owner’s terrible modifications.
They would be cool if done right, but the body work had so many waves you could surf on it.
Also somewhat neglected R32 GTR
He once was a shooting star, but now he’s just a faded Starlet.
By the roll cage in the back, I’d bet this thing saw some action back in the day.
Neglected plane
That poor Miata
The front is even worse
Two sitting Z10 Soarers
Rusting van.
Poor poor Stagea. He had a hard life.
A very dusty C210 Skyline. They pulled it out of storage just for me
That’s an incredibly happy DSS in the drivers’ seat
An STi palate cleanser

Sick man, glad you could experience a “realler” japan than what most tourists see. I LOVE driving around Japanese country side to find these kind of gem. So much fun, every time!

Arf I might have tried to go there and buy it :)
But I sort of have one already so... Will probably write about it later this year. Not mine yet, but most likely will be within a year :)

Old stuff, but...
I found this car too a few weeks ago on auction here haha
http://oppositelock.kinja.com/japan-we-need-…
Not the same wheels, hard top is gone, but definitely the same car. It sold (probably for parts at this point, for 700$ lol
Japan REALLY is a small country huh :)
